A picture book to help children deal with anxiety, loss and grief. The Invisible String explores the intangible yet unbreakable connections between us, created by love. The story does not focus on grief or mention suicide, but one child asks if the string reaches to heaven as a way of connecting to people who have died. It could be phrased differently if you prefer not to talk about the concept of heaven at all.
