Abbie Mitchell

Abbie is a mental health, bereavement and suicide awareness advocate and provides consultancy for peer support programmes, facilitation, speaking and training services.

Alongside a JNC accredited 1st class youth work and community development degree, Abbie has a foundation in humanistic counselling skills and studies and is a qualified Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor.

As a lived experience speaker, Abbie has delivered talks and panel discussions about her suicide bereavement and mental health for organisations such as the Guardian, Kensington and Chelsea Council, We are Just, The Howden Group and more.

Abbie has worked for several leading mental health charities and smaller organisations to help develop and implement peer support and peer led services including Lets Talk About Loss, Mind, RB Mind, Rethink Mental IllnessTiny Tickers, Together-UK, and We are Beyond.
